Collection: The Botanist's Diary

Four pages from a slow-painted herbarium

The Botanist's Diary is a four-chapter capsule of pure Gachi Tussar silk sarees, each pallu hand-drawn in true kalamkari - kalam (pen) + kari (work) by master artisans.
Chapter I opens in summer light with a sea-teal body and a mustard lotus pallu. Chapter II turns to dusk, coral fading into indigo florals. Chapter III is the rain-darkened forest floor in moss-green and charcoal. Chapter IV closes in dawn-soft violet and magenta tulips.
Each saree is handwoven and entirely hand-painted ; no two are identical. Wear them like pages from a private journal of Indian flora.
